The innocent girl’s family makes their living by picking garbage and lives in a hut outside the temple. On the night of the incident, the girl was sitting outside the temple with her family. After 12 o’clock at night, other members of the family went to sleep in the hut, while the girl remained sitting outside the temple.
During this time, the accused took the girl with him by luring her with ice cream and took her to a secluded place near the temple and raped her. After this, the accused fled leaving the girl there in an unconscious state.
